Something about yourself
Hi,
I’m and editor and illustrator working in Los Angeles.
I started cutting in the 6th grade on a PowerMac G4 and developed a serious interest in editing as part of the DPHS daily news program back when it was insane and not award winning.
I studied Theater at UCLA, did a bunch of Shakespeare and even more improv around town before returning to the warm embrace of post-production, where I feel the most engaged in the storytelling process; and least engaged with my core, sleep schedule, and good dietary habits.
After working as a PA for a few years (Bohemian Rhapsody, Once upon a Deadpool, Ford V Ferrari [Academy Award winner - Best Editing] ) I found myself in the Motion Picture Editors Guild. I was apprentice editor on Kingdom of The Planet of The Apes, where I learned a thing or two about Avid, almonds, and bear traps.
When I’m not assisting on tentpole studio blockbusters, I’m cutting your indie movie in Premiere, drawing your storyboards in Photoshop, or removing that one aunt from your wedding video in sanguine solidarity. Take a look around and reach out if you see something you dig.
